What to Expect

The first session is usually a listening session for me. I go over consent, confidentiality, and supervision and leave room for any questions you might have. Just as much as I am wondering if we are a good fit, this session is for you (the client) to see if I am a good fit for you. One of the most important aspects of this process is that you feel comfortable with your therapist.

Who is the ideal client?

There is no "ideal client." People who come to therapy have experienced loss, relationship turmoil, abuse, job change, anxiety, racism, sexism, homophobia, insecurity and all that life hands us. Where you are, right now, is enough.

Who do you see?

I have experience working with couples, families, adolescents, and individuals. I work with individuals who’ve experienced trauma, anxiety, ambivalence, family discord, and identity issues.

P.S.

No matter what you've been through or what you've done in life, taking the step to reach out for help is brave. Though the journey toward freedom can be daunting, we were never meant to do it alone. My hope for you is that you will find what will bring you healing.
